Dawes County is accepting applications and résumés for a part-time COURTROOM SECURITY BAILIFF at the Dawes County Courthouse. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 21 years of age; veterans will be given preference. This position reports to the Dawes County Board and receives direct supervision from the District and County Court Officials. Starting wage will be $10.00/hour, with a raise after a six month introductory period. Major duties of this position include conducting manual bag searches and operating electronic metal detectors for courtroom security purposes. Training and uniforms will be provided. Position closes 31 August 2015.
