            • Dawes County Road Heavy Equipment Operator/Truck Driver
              Dawes County Roads Department is seeking applications for our Heavy Equipment Operator/ Truck Driver positions. The District Shop 1 shop is located directly in the city of Chadron, NE. This position, serves in a highly visible capacity within Dawes County. The primary purpose of this position is to operate a variety of heavy construction grade equipment and trucks utilized in the construction, maintenance and repair of county roads and bridges. Applicant must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid NE driver’s license “Class A” CDL preferred or the ability to obtain a Class A CDL within 6 months of hire. A pre-employment drug test and enrollment in a random alcohol and drug testing program is required. Full-Time 40 hrs./week. Dawes County provides a great benefits package as well as paid holidays for full-time/qualifying employees. Two positions available, open until filled.
